Procedure Search
With ebility's built in procedure search engine, you can simply search for the right CPT or ASA codes as you fill out your billing encounter. The enhanced algorithm allows you to search using either CPT code, procedure descriptor, ASA code, or short names. If you are still unable to find the appropriate code, it allows for manual entry.

Using the procedure search
To start using the procedure search, create a billing encounter (ticket):

Go to Procedures

Enter either the procedure descriptor, short name or its CPT code in the search field.

Choose the appropriate procedure from the results.

Press Done to confirm selection.

Manual entry
To enter procedure manually:

Enter the ASA code on the search field.

Below the search field, enter the appropriate Description for the procedure.

Select and click the appropriate search result.

Press Done to confirm.
